Your AI-Built App Works. Let's Make It Last.

Cursor, Copilot, and ChatGPT can get you to a working prototype fast. But working in dev and surviving production are two different things. We audit your vibe-coded project, fix what matters, and hand it back as a codebase you can confidently scale.

AI Writes Code Fast. It Doesn't Write Code Right.

Cursor and Copilot generate plausible-looking code that skips error handling, ignores edge cases, and repeats itself across dozens of files, leaving you with a fragile prototype dressed up as a product.

Security vulnerabilities are common in AI-generated code: exposed API keys, missing input validation, no rate limiting, and direct database queries without sanitization. One bad actor finding these can end your business.

No error handling means your users see raw stack traces, blank screens, or silent failures when anything goes wrong. There's no fallback, no logging, and no way to know what broke or why.

AI-generated codebases are nearly impossible to maintain. When logic is duplicated across 15 files and variable names are auto-generated nonsense, adding a single feature means touching dozens of files and hoping nothing breaks.

We Turn Your Prototype Into a Production Codebase.

We start with a full audit of your existing code, security, performance, architecture, and maintainability. Then we build a prioritized plan and work through it systematically: consolidating duplicate logic, adding proper error handling, patching security gaps, and writing documentation so your next developer (or your future self) isn't starting from scratch. You end up with a codebase that's clean, secure, and ready to grow.

How It Works

1

Code Audit

We read through your entire codebase and produce a written report covering security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, duplicate logic, missing error handling, and the specific files and functions that need work. You see exactly what we found before we touch a single line.

2

Prioritized Plan

Not everything needs fixing immediately. We sort findings by severity and business impact, then agree on a scope with you. Critical security issues go first. Nice-to-have refactors go last. You know what's happening and why at every step.

3

Refactor & Secure

We work through the agreed scope, consolidating duplicated logic, adding error handling and logging, patching security gaps, optimizing slow queries and API calls, and restructuring files so the architecture makes sense. Your existing features stay intact throughout.

4

Document & Deliver

We hand back a cleaned codebase with inline code comments, a README that covers setup and deployment, and documentation of any decisions we made. We walk you through the changes, answer your questions, and provide 30 days of support for anything that comes up.

What You Get

  • Full code audit report with prioritized findings
  • Security assessment covering OWASP top 10 risks
  • Refactored codebase with consolidated logic
  • Performance optimization for slow queries and API calls
  • Inline code comments and technical documentation
  • Unit tests for critical business logic
  • Deployment-ready configuration and environment setup
  • 30 days of post-delivery support

Pricing

$1,500 - $6,000

Final price depends on codebase size and the number of critical issues found. Most projects land between $2,000 and $4,000. We quote after reviewing your code, no surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is vibe coding and why does it create problems?

Vibe coding means using AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT to generate most or all of your application code, often by describing what you want and accepting whatever the AI produces. It's fast and impressive for prototypes, but AI-generated code routinely lacks proper error handling, has security gaps, duplicates logic across files, and uses patterns that don't scale. The result works in development but creates serious problems when real users and real load hit it.

What specifically gets fixed during a cleanup?

It depends on what we find in the audit, but common fixes include: patching exposed API keys and adding proper environment variable handling, adding input validation and sanitization to prevent injection attacks, adding error boundaries and try/catch blocks so failures are handled gracefully, consolidating repeated logic into shared functions or services, optimizing database queries that run on every request, and restructuring files so the codebase has a logical hierarchy. We document everything we change and explain the reasoning.

How long does a code cleanup take?

Most projects take 1-3 weeks from start to delivery. The audit and plan take 2-3 business days. The refactor phase depends on how much work the audit uncovers, a small API with 10 files is a week of work, a full-stack app with 50+ files is 2-3 weeks. We give you a specific timeline after the audit so you know exactly what to expect.

Will you work with my tech stack?

We work with the most common stacks that AI tools produce: React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django), and PostgreSQL or MySQL databases. If your stack is different, tell us in your project form and we'll let you know whether we're the right fit. We won't take on a project we can't execute well.

Will my existing features still work after the refactor?

Yes. We do not remove or rebuild features, we clean up the code that powers them. Before we start the refactor phase, we document the existing behavior and test it manually. After refactoring, we verify that everything still works the same way it did before. If we find a bug in the original code during the audit, we flag it for you separately rather than silently changing behavior.
